Mmmmmmmm... It’s Chocolate Festival Time!
There’s more to life than chocolate, but not right now. The American Red Cross of Medina County and the J.M. Smucker Company invite you and all your friends to the 12th annual Chocolate Festival. The 2009 event will feature decadent chocolate items from over 30 chocolatiers, Saturday, February 7, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Community Center at the Medina County Fairgrounds, 735 Lafayette Road, Medina.
If you love chocolate, you’ll love this year’s event. All attendees age 5 and older must have a ticket to enter the event. There are two types of tickets: a $10 ticket for 10 chocolate samples and a $5 ticket for 5 samples.
This family-oriented event features chocolate sampling, a Children’s Candyland area with games and amusements, a bake sale featuring contest winners, chair massages by Nature’s Touch Massage and Wellness Center and a snack bar provided by Dominic’s Restaurant. Chocolatiers also sell scrumptious items that are perfect for Valentine’s Day.

The Decadent Dessert and Chocolate Cookie Contests will be held Friday, February 6, at Buehler’s Market at 3626 Medina Rd., Medina. After judging, all non-perishable contest entries will be sold at the Chocolate Festival bake sale.
