Liverpool Township Historical Society and Buckeye Community Theatre announce the 3rd Annual Liverpool Historical Spirit Walk on Saturday, September 29, 2012. Step back into time and spirits from Myrtle Hill Cemetery will bring to life their tales of early Liverpool Township. Six new stories will be reenacted as you are led from gravestone to gravestone. Two of the stories focus on the War of 1812 in Liverpool. This event is excellent for the entire family. Children, parents and grandparents will enjoy hearing of times past and learn some history while having fun! The stories are suitable for all ages and not scary. The park is handicapped accessible and limited seating is available at each of the gravestones. This event will be held rain or shine. The Spirit Walk will be held at Mill Steam Park, 1241 Maple Street, Valley City. Tours will commence in 15 minute intervals starting at 6pm and run until 8:30pm. Tickets are $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for children 12 and under; free for 5 and under. Tickets will be available at the door with advance sale tickets at Brunswick and Forest Meadows Buehlers in Medina.
