This course focuses on how to apply management science principles to the delivery of activity services. It systematically builds a foundation of administrative and supervisory skills. A structured practicum is an integral part of the course. This course has five units including: activity department functions, administrative practices in the activity profession, the system of activity program development and communication and community relations. Prerequisites include completion of the 90-hour Basic Education Course of MEPAP I or similar academic foundation and experience as an activity professional as determined by the instructor. This course is one of the required components for National Certification as an ADC. Book included in the price of class. Registration required at least 1 week prior.
