Boots, Brews & BBQ presented by Sandridge Food Corporation, takes place Sunday, Oct. 20, 3 to 7 p.m., at Thirsty Cowboy, 2743 Medina Rd. Tickets for the HMC benefit are $50 per person and include a BBQ buffet, beer tasting by Saucy Brew Works and two drink tickets. Basket raffles are also planned. All dollars raised at the event will stay in Medina benefiting local hospice families.
Live music will be provided by Medina’s own Tyler Reid. Reid and his band have performed at a variety of festivals, fairs, charity events, and honky-tonks from Ohio to Nashville. Venues include Thirsty Cowboy, Jamboree in the Hills, The Grand Ole Opry, and many of Nashville’s favorite clubs. Reid’s sound is influenced by a diverse range of artists, including Waylon Jennings, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Garth Brooks, Vince Gill and Dave Mathews.
