Hello all!! Come join Bro Olu with our
musical activity drum circle. Participants will engage in a fun lesson
on drumming and African culture.
Come learn songs, rhythms and call
and response with the healing beat
of the drum!
Bro Olu is 2nd generation African
drummer. He has been teaching and
playing African drums for over 30
yrs. He has travelled the world learning and sharing his experiences with
students from all walks of life. He is
a professor at Kent State University
and founder of Rhythm in the Room,
an arts education company.
Olugbala Manns is a master drummer. .Joining in the beat “on the
one” improves focus and concentration. Just like the Djembes that you
will be playing, you have to give energy to receive
energy back,
as residents
at the Medina
County Home
