Hospice of the Western Reserve Volunteer Training Series
Are you looking for a way to help individuals in your community? We serve palliative and hospice care patients/families wherever they call home and have a wide range of volunteer opportunities to fit your talents, interests, and schedule including making phone calls, providing respite, attorney/notary, licensed hairdressers. We also need additional volunteers with retail experience to assists at Life’s Treasures Thrift Shop in Medina. 2 Virtual volunteer training series are offered monthly We usually hold two virtual training series each month. Upcoming training sessions are scheduled on Tuesdays and Thursdays - November 2, 4, 9 & 11 from 1:00 – 4:00 PM and Monday and Wednesdays – November 8, 10, 15, & 17 from 5:30 – 8:30 PM. Registration for training is contingent on meeting pre-registration requirements which include completing an application, criminal background check, and pre-screening interview. Life’s Treasures Thrift Shop in Medina Looking for new volunteers
Life’s Treasures is one of the most successful, and volunteer-run fundraisers for Hospice of the Western Reserve. We are looking for new volunteers with a background in retail to add to our team. We have a several training sessions planned but can work with your schedule to get you trained. Registration for training is contingent on meeting pre-registration requirements which include completing an application, criminal background check, and pre-screening interview. There are also some short-term opportunities that may not require meeting all these requirements.
