Medina County Chamber Charities is pleased to announce the 2019 MC Amazing Race Medina County presented by Huntington Bank. The event will be Saturday Sept. 21st, 2019 and team registration and check-in will kick off at Wingz Sports Grill in Brunswick. Your team must arrive at 8:00am to register to be ready for the 9:00am start time. This fun and challenging competition will host teams of four who will then race around to secret locations throughout Medina County, competing for cash prizes and glory. Funds raised will be distributed by MC Chamber Charities to further the education of Medina County traditional and non-traditional students. Our goal is to raise close to $10,000 through the event.
City officials, Businesses, agencies, non-profits, clubs and other local organizations can sponsor a team and use this exciting opportunity for corporate team-building. Friends, families or individuals can also choose to sponsor a team in this family-friendly race through our beautiful county. Learn about the history of Medina County in addition to doing fun and zany tasks along with our selfie scavenger hunt challenges. Teams will race, run, eat, think and outsmart each other to the finish line.
Team registration is now open! It's only a $150.00 registration fee for a team of four. Team must pay with credit card. All teams must have four members at least 14 years of age or older with someone available to offer them transportation. We anticipate the event as taking no more than 6 hours to complete in a driving race throughout Medina County. The first place team will win a cash prize of $500 and second place will receive $300. A special spirit award will be available for one lucky team too!
