The Medina County Historical Society will be holding an Open House on the first Sunday of each month. This month, the date is Sunday, November 1, at the John Smart House museum, 206 N. Elmwood, Medina, 1pm - 4pm. During 2020, the displays will recall our nations experiment with Prohibition. While Medina County was already a "dry" county, it was a constant effort on behalf of law enforcement to make sure the county stayed that way. Through displays and events, the society will recall 100 years ago. "Last Call Folks - the Nations Experiment with Prohibition."
