Monthly Makers: Birds

Do you like to build or create things by yourself or with your family? Take the opportunity this spring to get creative and showcase your artistic endeavors along the trail at Wolf Creek Environmental Center. Each month will have a different theme, and every registered household will be provided an outdoor space to display what it makes.
April is a month when many birds begin nesting. Create birds in a nest or on the wing. Make them out of any material you like but be sure they are able to withstand being outdoors for at least two weeks. Each household will be limited to a 5 foot by 5 foot square in which to display their birds. Setup will occur between April 7th and 10th. Registered individuals/households will be contacted with further details regarding set-up. Birds will be on public display through April 24th.
**PLEASE NOTE - WOLF CREEK ENVIRONMENTAL CENTER HAS LIMITED HOURS. The gate and grounds are open from 9 am to 5 pm, Tuesday-Saturday (closed Sunday and Monday.) A portable restroom is available in the parking lot.
