Montville Cares Spooky Walk and Trunk or Treat is a Halloween themed event held every year at Cobblestone Park, Medina in Mid October.
We have a Trunk or Treat to start off the evening, where kids can walk around Montville Safety Services Vehicles, Community Member Vehicles, and Commercial Vehicles and trick or treat for candy. We welcome kids to wear their Halloween Costumes for this event. The Public is welcome to decorate their trunks and pass out candy for the Trunk or Treat. We estimate we will have over 1,000 children who participate in the Trunk or Treat. Trunk or Treat participation parking opens at 5:30 pm.
We have a Spooky Walk, which is a little kid path, for our younger friends and their families to walk and enjoy all the fun activities, games and Halloween scenes we have put together. We will even have a Little Ghouls Dance Party on this path. Bring the cameras because we have lots of photo opportunities for your family to enjoy!
We have a Scary Path which is also a family friendly path but for older kids and their families. These scary scenes are put together in the Woods at Cobblestone Park and are designed to give a fright or a scare. Ghosts, Ghouls and Goblin’s around every turn, you should Beware!
This year is the 10th year having the Montville Cares Spooky Walk and we are ending the night with Fireworks! Stay late with us and enjoy the night and take in the Fireworks Display!
Montville Spooky Walk is a fundraising event. We are asking for cash donations as a way for us to give to the very worthy causes we raise money for. This year’s proceeds will be donated to: Jessica Schaffer Memorial Fund; D.A.R.E.; Medina County Police Activities League (MCPAL); and Montville Police Patrolman's Association. Suggested donation is $5 per person or $20 for a family.
We will have a concession stand available to get refreshments while at the Spooky Walk, also for a donation. The money raised at the concession stand is used to support PeaceWorks.
