Needle Felted Mandala Workshop-Beginners

Join felting artist, Karen Burke, for a needle felting workshop at the beautiful Places In Time Fiber Arts Studio in Medina county.  At this three-hour workshop, Karen will guide you through the process of creating a unique wall hanging -- your own mandala -- a beautiful circular design in a hoop frame, ready to hang in a special space or to give as a gift.  Some consider making mandalas an effective form of art therapy, helping to comfort and calm the mind.  Your session will begin with a short sound bath meditation.

This workshop is appropriate for beginners.  Anybody can learn the art of needle felting!  Open to all women 18 and over.  Teen girls are welcome with permission from a parent or guardian.  10% of proceeds from all events at Places In Time will be donated to the Medina and Summit County Women's Shelters.
