Sharon Center Sing & Strum

In April and May, we held a six
week class for total beginner ukulele players. Thanks to the article in
Medina Weekly, we had 16 participants! Several of those participants
played together during
a church service on Mother's Day. Now we are ready to begin the
Sharon Center Sing & Strum, a jam session for ukulele players of all
ages and all ability levels. Our first event will occur on Wednesday,
June 12, at 7:00 p.m., at Sharon Center United Methodist
Church. We will have loaner ukuleles available for beginners, and music
to share. Experienced players are welcome to bring copies of music to
share with the group. We plan to have a sing-along of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" and "Lava" and will be open to other suggestions.
