Valley City Frog Jump Festival

Join us for our 61st old time frog jumping competition, a la Mark Twain who will be making an appearance this year! (What's a Frog Jump?  Thee Frog Jump?  See http://frogjump.valleycity.org/ to find out all the fun details)

Winners of each flight receive a trophy and compete for Grand Champion. In 1988, our longest leaper flew 19 feet 1 inch (in three jumps) into the Valley City history books. We've jumped 700 or more frogs over the last five years in a single day, most notably a record 785 in 2021! Come enjoy a day of home cookin' with local Valley City vendors including chicken dinners, ribs, hamburgers, Italian sausage, fresh fruit, corn-on-the-cob, ice cream, pizza, pie and more. Enjoy lots of entertainment, face painting, more children's games with prizes and a ride-able train, bubble soccer, vendors, the Hoppin' Retail Shoppe where you'll find our annual frogified T-shirts, hats, mugs, gifts, note and postcards. Other activities include Shopping, DJ Anthony with Music Bingo & Prizes, Bounce House Park, Beer gardens and free parking!

Online store is now open at valleycity.org for 2022 T-shirt and Hoodie logo merch!  Store closes July 12th and pickup at the Festival Hoppin' Retail Shoppe.

Online Flight Registration for Jockeys/Frogs begins June 19-July19, 2022, or until sold out.  Day of registration still available.

Day of Festival Jockey/Frog Registration begins at 10am, Frog Jumping at 11am
