Experience Dorothy Fuldheim

Dorothy (1893 – 1989) was the first woman to anchor a U.S. TV news broadcast, as well as being a respected radio commentator, an exceptional interviewer of highly visible people of her time and above all a flamboyant character.  She made her presence known and was a ‘must watch/listen’ personage to a large following.
Dorothy, red hair and all, will be portrayed by Anne McEvoy, a professional actor and longtime associate of Women in History. Anne is passionate about telling the fascinating stories of the countless women who've helped shape America and the world at large...but who are all too often left out of the history books.
